The triangle is the simplest figure imaginable, yet as a symbol it scintillates with meaning. Regarding it as an equilateral triangle, it is clear that it represents a balanced nature in which three equal sides are blended as one. Translating this idea into practical life and associating it with man, the simple proposition symbolized is that man has to learn the art of balance. This is taught symbolically in every degree of Freemasonry.
